Bag of Beans

When I was looking for "must-visit-places-in-Tagaytay"in the internet, one of the places that was always popping out was The Bag of Beans. A lot of reviews has been made that we just had to squeeze it in the itinerary.
Finally, the time came for us to visit the place. We struggled with Google Maps to find the location and battled the traffic that Holy Week has brought. Lo and behold, when we arrived at the place (as instructed to us by Google Maps), we found out that we were at the wrong branch. I noticed because the place didn't look the same as it did with the pictures. We even double checked if we were indeed at The Bag of Beans. Finally, we asked the security guard and he confirmed that there was another branch (the Main Branch) in I-don't-know-where and that we were in the "Pinoy Toppings" branch. It just wasn't the same ambiance that the Main Branch exuded in the photos that I've seen. But since we were already there, might as well give it a try.

Nevertheless, we still enjoyed the Chocolate Mousse and the Frappes that we ordered. It was both delicious and affordable, enough to satisfy our sweet tooth.

We ended up at the best seat with a nice view and fresh air of Tagaytay. At the end of the night, we did not regret going there. Though not the place that I've expected, I can still say that I've been to the Bag of Beans. It was the memory made that will matter eventually.

I'm curious though, were we that far off?
