Just opened last June 1, this place has been getting the craze lately. The parking lot has been full and people have been flocking to try and make their own Pizza in Pizza Republic Pick + Mix by Giuseppe Genco.

It is a new Pizza House in Cebu where you get to decide what toppings you want on your pizza. And a bonus part is you get to see the process.
As a Product Engineer, I can totally relate to the Production and the Assembly Line. Although what they make is totally different from what we manufacture, it is nice to know that the system is similar in some ways.
So to start the creation of your very own pizza, let's start with the dough.
The dough is about 10 inches somewhat thin but not very thin.
After the dough has been kneaded, you can now choose your sauce.
They have Red Sauce and White Sauce available. You can opt to have it all Red or all White or if you are that adventurous, you can also have it Half-Red or Half-White.
And the selection of toppings begin. First off, the cheese. The Mozzarella Cheese, of course, should not be forgotten but you can add Cream Cheese, Parmesan Cheese, Gorgonzola and White Cheese as well.
Next stop, the meats. You can choose from Italian Garlic, Garlic Sausage, Shublig, Cheese Sausage, Hungarian, Corned Beef, Frankfurter, Tuna, Salami, Beef Ham and many more.
After that is the veges but I skipped that part. Haha. You can add Bell Peppers, Onions, Tomatoes, Anchovies, and many more that I don't care to remember. Hehe
Lastly, you can boost the flavor by adding Barbeque Sauce, Chilli Sauce, Pesto, Oregano and some other herbs and spices.

And tadaa.. My very own pizza. :)
Food: Because you're the one who picked the toppings, you are solely responsible for its taste. But it is very filling and is okay to share although, if you have a very big appetite, one 10inch pizza will just be enough for you. For 245php only, it is quite affordable what with all the toppings that you can have. No additional charge for any additional toppings whatsoever. Plus you get to enjoy picking. A tip though, don't get over excited and put everything in your pizza. You also have to keep in mind that the individual taste of your toppings will complement as a whole. And, if you put a lot, your dough might not be able to take the weight. Hehe
