Terrazas de Flores

Terrazas de Flores - I've been seeing a lot of this Botanical Garden in Busay over the last couple of weeks in social media. And since then, I've been wanting to visit this piece of heaven on Earth.
So when we saw a vacant weekend, last February 18, we immediately put it in our schedule and coined our little excursion as "Post-Valentine's Date".

Monday Motivation: Starting Again

Hello Hello!
Here I am again! Yet another attempt to start and keep this blog afloat.
I don't know why I always go MIA. This time though, I will try to make this as a Public Diary of sort to help me enhance my writing skills. So maybe you'll see a lot of random stuffs in the future.
So happy to start my Monday with a Workout. After 3weeks of being sedentary, it's nice to be moving again. But I died after the 1st video! Hahaha. Reaping the result of my #pababoy weeks. But tomorrow, I shall try again! #JustDoIt
And it's back to work again for us after a 4-days non-work due to our Observance of the Holy Week.
So yeah, werk werk werk werk werk. :P

How was your Holy Week? How did you celebrate the Easter? :D

Cafe Racer

I've been wanting to visit Cafe Racer since the time a friend posted a picture of its Soft Opening on Instagram. But from what little I saw, I thought that it was mostly a chill out place for barkadas to get-together and have some drinks (aka Inuman Place).

La Vie Parisienne

To be completely honest with myself, I really suck at blogging. Why? Because A) I don't have the time to write posts frequently and B) I always encounter the "Writer's Block". Even though my mind always rambles about things, every time I put it into writing, I always get stuck! Pffft. Mind, you fail me sometimes.

The Pancake House

Wow! I've been out of the blogosphere for months. I am sorry. I know I don't have the right to be back but after purchasing a camera last month, I have to put it to good use right? And what better way than to show them pictures in the blog. So sue me (but please don't). :)

Tokyo Joe

Honestly, I was never a fan of Japanese Cuisines and I don't think that I ever will be. Yeah, maybe I can eat a dish or two but for me to crave for it, nah, I don't think so.

Cold as You

Knowing what to expect, I really planned (chos) and looked for items that I can wear on the cold Baguio weather and at the same time, is not that thick so when the weather gets hot, I won't be sweating like crazy.

I was so happy when I found this white jacket at a thrift store prior to our Baguio trip. It is the perfect protection against the cool Baguio Weather.

I paired it with this orange cropped top and this high waist pants so if it gets hot, I can just easily slip off my jacket.

Jacket: Thrifted | Cropped top: Borrowed from sister |
Acid Washed pants: Vixen from SM Department Store | Shoes: Forever21

On our 2nd day, I wore the jacket again (boo for no baggage hindering me from bringing another heavy item) and paired it with this gray striped body fitting dress. I might seem weather impaired (totally unprotected knees) but the weather in Baguio are not that freezing anymore in mid day and we were already going back to Manila that afternoon.

Gray Striped Dress: Thrifted, Online Shop | Bag: Heartstrings | Watch: Casio Vintage Watch

Finally, I want you all to meet the new addition to our Family, my nephew, Michael Castiel Carpio. Our new little angel. :)

Mines View Park

Mines View Park, so called for its view of the Benguet's gold and copper mine is one of the famous tourist spots in Baguio.

What to do in Mines View Park?

1.) Take a picture with this ginormous St. Bernard dog for only 50php per 5shots.

2.) Rent a costume and play dress up as a native Igorot for 10php per person.

3.) Take a picture riding a horse for 10php. Sadly, I hadn't bothered on taking a picture with the horses because I thought that we will have a chance later to experience horseback riding. As it turned out,the cost for horseback riding was higher than what we expected so no horseback riding for me. :(

4.) Shop for delicacies and souvenir items at stalls located at the entrance. They offer Strawberry Jam, Ube Jam, Peanut Brittles, brooms, knitted cardigans, souvenir shirts and more.

5.) Lastly, enjoy the panoramic view of the Benguet Mines.

How to get there:
You can ride a taxi in going there with a flag down rate of 35php and 2php/succeeding meter. We paid 89php from Camp Allen (where we stayed) to Mines View Park.
Or if you want to save money and commute, there are also jeepneys going there. Just go to Mabini Street near corner Session Road across McDonald's and you'll see jeepneys with "Baguio Plaza-Mines View VV" signs.
I hope you enjoyed Mines View Park as much as I did. :)

Road Trip

Last week, my boyfriend and I decided to hit the road to celebrate my birthday.
We went up north to the summer capital of the Philippines, Baguio. Albeit it is not summer anymore, there were still plenty of tourists going about the city and enjoying the cool weather.

We took the Victory Liner bus in going to Baguio which costs 450php/person. The trip was about 6hrs long with two bus stops. I like the Victory Liner bus because it has enough leg room in between seats and the seats are very comfortable (you won't have a hard time sleeping :)). It is fully air-conditioned and has free wifi access. What better way to travel, right?

Here is a video of our trip. :)
Where have you been lately? I would love to know.

Feeling 22

Awww. I thought that I would be Forever21. But nevertheless, I am grateful for the year that has passed and looking forward to what this year may bring. Thank you for being a part of my past year and I am looking forward to seeing you this year.
To everyone who texted me, called me, and written on my Facebook wall to greet me a "Happy Birthday" today, you all made this special day extra special.
